Expiring inventory by node seems to be one goal fro the next TSMrelease, see this presentation from Dave Cannon :

By now, it can be done with undocumented options of the expire inventorycommand, on advide from support. You'll find some tricks about that here :

BE REALLY CAREFULL using CREATE SQLT command !

Just a question, why do you want to expire nodes on an alphabeticalorder rather than on a tsm decided order ?
