Hi

TSM Server v5.4.0.0

TSM Client v5.4.0.2

Both running on Windows 2003

Problem trying to restore data. I want to restore data on a backup of an
'E' drive to the 'F' drive.

I have updated the dsm.opt file to the nodename of an existing node
which backs up data nightly. When i do a restore of the data from the
GUI, all is fine. I can see the drive i want to restore ('E' drive) and
the restore to the 'F' drive starts successfully. But i want to do the
restore from the command line with the '-QUIET' option to improve
restore performance (500gb to be restored)

However, at the command line, i get this:

Restore e:\ f: -subdir=yes -tapeprompt=no -quiet

ANS1084E No files have previously been backed up for 'E:\'

Why does this work from the GUI but not from the command line. Am i
missing an option?

Thanks

Jeff White
