Hi Everyone,

I just upgrade my test TSM Server from 5.4.1.2 to 5.5.0.0 on Windows Server 
2003 32-Bits.

Just for your information. Normally when you upgrade a TSM Server though the 
MSI packed. Then does the MSI packed normally run "dsmserv upgradedb" 
automatic. 

But on 5.5.0.0 for Windows it doesn't. So you need to run "dsmserv upgradedb" 
from the command promoted and then shutdown the TSM Server from command line 
and then start the TSM Server as normal via the Windows Services. 

 

If you have the same issue on TSM on AIX, Linux or any other OS I have no idea 
but it's good info to know.
