I agree wholeheartedly, after IBM's server was down for a while during
my recent TSM 5.3 -> 5.5 upgrade which was deliberately scheduled for a
very quiet day during the dead Christmas-New Years week. Guess what -
IBM decided it was a good time for their upgrade too.

I remembered that I had downloaded them to a PC back in my office, so I
raced back there and burned the full set to a CD-R. I now carry that CD
in my laptop case everywhere. I have also put a copy of them up on a
local server.

And I finally did print copies of two manuals on actual paper:
Administrator's Guide, and Windows Client. I'll print Mac Client and
Unix Client when I need them. These are the only books of the set that
I'd consider curling up with in a comfortable chair for an extended
read. But OTOH I find that the best way to use Administrator's Reference
is to open the PDF file locally on your workstation. Having the command
list in the left pane of Adobe Reader is even better than the HELP
command in dsmadmc.
