Make sure it is empty, you can delete and re-assign without reformatting.

Can I move a disk data volume to another storage pool by; doing a
move data on the volume, deleting the volume from the current storage
pool, and defining the volume to the other storage pool?  That is,
without putting it through the dsmfmt process again?
