You will have to make a new definition of the Domino server on your new TSM
server. Then, at you leisure, export the old data to the new server.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Moving Domino backups between TSM servers

I have a big project to move 100TB of Domino backups (and their
definitions) to a new TSM server (phasing out AIX).

Besides having resource issues (time, disk, tape.....the usual), I need to
keep the Domino backups running while the moves (imports/exports) are in
progress.

We perform all three kinds of Domino backups, archivelogs, incremental and
selective. Archivelogs run hourly, incrementals run daily and selective
every two weeks. I expect some of these moves to run for days, if not more
than a week.

What are the effects/impact of running export/imports for this kind of
data and also performing regular backups, at the same time ?

Recommendations on sequence of events to minimize the impact ?
