Hi,

I just configured our TSM server (5.4.1.2 on AIX) to backup our two
NetApp filers. I have a few question regarding the NDMP backups:

- How do I have to define the backup copygroup? I want to keep the full
backup and two differentials. Is it correct to set the option
verexists=2? After the third backup I only see the two differentials
with the command "q nasbackup". The full backup disappeared because it
seems to have been expired.
- How long will the full backup be kept?
- Is it possible to get some information about the last full backup
after it has been expired?
- Is it possible to automatically create full backups after a given time
(2 weeks for example)? It's not a good idea to create full backups of
the whole filers on the same day, so I want to define a different time
for each filesystem. Is it possible without defining separate schedules
for each filesystem? It would be nice to have an option for a filesystem
that says "create a full backup every 14 days".

- I don't see accounting information about the nas backups in the
dsmaccnt.log file. Is it possible to find out how much data has been
backed up from the nas nodes?

Sorry for so many questions but the TSM manuals are a bit rare on this
topic.
