AIX mtlib command to list all tapes which are category insert (3494):

# mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qC -s FF00

I've tried both of these commands:

checkin libvolume ysuatl01 a00100 search=no status=scratch checklabel=yes
devtype=3592

checkin libvolume ysuatl01 search=yes volrange=a00100,a00119 status=scratch
checklabel=yes devtype=3592

Do I need to do something under AIX first?

I've inserted them in the library. How can I verify that they are in "Insert
Mode"?
