If a node has its / file space in two different storage pools, then
how can I remove the file space from one storage pool but leave it
untouched in another?
My understanding is that doing 'del fi hostname /' will remove this
filespace from all the storage pools, right?
For example, a node called CPFARM has a file space called /.
tsm: TSM-SERVER-3>q fi cpfarm / f=d
Node Name: CPFARM
Filespace Name: /
Hexadecimal Filespace Name:
FSID: 1
Platform: Linux86
Filespace Type: EXT3
Is Filespace Unicode?: No
Capacity (MB): 20,158.0
Pct Util: 72.6
Last Backup Start Date/Time: 07/04/07 21:06:59
Days Since Last Backup Started: 1
Last Backup Completion Date/Time: 07/04/07 21:15:51
Days Since Last Backup Completed: 1
Last Full NAS Image Backup Completion Date/Time:
Days Since Last Full NAS Image Backup Completed:
Now this file space is found in:
tsm: TSM-SERVER-3>q occupancy cpfarm /
Node Name Type Filespace FSID Storage Number
of Physical Logical
Name Pool Name
Files Space Space
Occupied Occupied
(MB) (MB)
---------- ---- ---------- ----- ----------
--------- --------- ---------
CPFARM Bkup / 1 3584COPY
347,339 28,894.85 23,895.31
CPFARM Bkup / 1 3584FULL1
3,654 2,211.98 2,211.98
CPFARM Bkup / 1 3584FULL3
820,415 59,209.28 58,057.75
CPFARM Bkup / 1 FILEFULL1
3,915 3,841.43 3,841.43
CPFARM Bkup / 1 FILEFULL3
2,649 1,130.80 1,130.80
I would want to remove it from 3584FULL3 & 3584FULL3 only. How can I
accomplish this?
