Hi all

we have updated TSM on Solaris from 5.2.x to 5.3.5.1 and Client to
5.3.4.12.

Now we are not able to write to Centera any more. It is and it was
configured without PEA, only 4 ip-addresses (everything worked fine before
upgrade).

If we write to a storage pool ( with centera device class) we get the
message:

ANR8340I Centera volume 000001BA.cnt mounted ....
ANR1340I Scratch volume 000001BA.cnt is now defined on storage pool
CENTERA_POOL1
ANR0511I Session 777 opened output volume 000001BA.cnt
ANR2544E Unable to open the centera device at hla x.y.z.b
ANR0523W Transaction failed for session 777 for node xyz (SUN SOLARIS) -
error on output storage device
....

ping to the IP addresse from TSM System works fine.

This is our test system. Production TSM works in parallel with the same
centera and can write to it with the same devclass and storagepool
definitions.
