Hi, Michael -

I don't know the particulars of your shop, but it is likely that the
file system is being backed up every day, but...  You cite mail spool
files, of mbox format, which are a challenge to back up because they
are so frequently being updated (real mail, spam, IMAP/POP access,
etc.).  The gaps in the backup of your Inbox may reflect the backup
giving up, per the choice of CHAngingretries value.  The scheduler
log should be reviewed to see if the value can be realistically
increased, relative to the runtime duration of the overall backup.
