Hi, Mark -

Archive files previously bound to a management class with a 7 year
retention period will prevail according to that historic policy.
Changing the retention period affects all the archive files bound to
that management class.  ADSM QuickFacts entry "Archived files,
retention period, update" talks about the effects of a change.
