You may want to do a restore using the virtualnode parameter to get the data
over from one server to another.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Backup vs. Archive - Replacing a Windows Server

Hello,
I'm new to TSM and need some help. We have a Windows 2003 x32 Server that is
running
out of disk space. We want to use TSM to copy all the data onto a new server
which is
a Windows 2003 x64 Server. What is the best way to do this? Backup vs. archive?
If backup, what type will be best?
Can anyone offer suggestions?
