Select syntax question

Subject: Select syntax question

I want to select only a subset of messages from the activity log table.
For instance,

Select datetime, msgno, message, nodename from actlog
Where messages in (4952 4954 4957)

Etc.

Just looking for some syntax help.  Don't currently have a good sql
manual.
