Hello All,

Is there anyway to remove a single damaged file on a tape volume
In a sequential access primary Storage Pool? The space reclamation
and storage backup pool Process is skipping the damaged file (s) in
question,
As it should be, But the message continuously shows up in our TSM
operational
reporting.

I tried to do an Restore Volume on the tape and It ended with success but
No files were restored from the rmpool and it was marked as access
Destroyed, as it should. I then change the status back to readwrite.
There was a message that the volume contains file that could not be
restored ok
I knew that. I also tried to a move process on the tape and it ended
with a failure.
