Just a couple of technical nuances...

MOUNTRetention does not apply to Backup DB, as there is no
possibility of further writing to the tape.

For other tapes, a server script wait time must substantially exceed
the MOUNTRetention value, as the conclusion of the MOUNTRetention
dormancy period must then be followed by rewind, ejection, barcode
verification, removal, and cell storage - which can take a while.
