Yessir, that did the trick! And now we officially have a
Google-searchable solution for BMR0041E, if applicable. Thanks so much,
David!

1) smitty sysback -> TSM Configuration -> TSM Backup Management ->
Remove a TSM Backup Image
2) select the TSM virtual device
3) select (with esc7) the open backup and hit enter
4) rerun the backup

Hello, all. I'm receiving the following during a Sysback process.

BMR0041E Backup 0.709911745 is already in progress for System backup
on

TSM server tsm.

FAILURE: System backup failed to complete.

I understand there is an open backup still out there, and saw it after
running 'sbtsmlist -l -ntsm0'. There was a backup listed that was
still
active and open. My question is how do I close it, or if need be, get
rid of it? I would to get this back on schedule, so any assistance
would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

God bless you!!!
