Jim,
I don't know if there's a one stop way to create a custom CD ... the
process is called 'slipstream'-ing
do a google search for 'Slipstream Windows" and you should be able to
find a few hits about it

I'm a unix guy, not a windows guru, so I can't really tell you how to do
it, but http://unattended.msfn.org/ might be a good site for starters..

Hope that helps.

Tim.

Hi Tim,

I have heard references about that, but I don't really know what it is? Is
there a tool to create a 'custom' Windows 2003 O/S install CD? Or are
people just hacking up MS's native CD image? (To be totally honest, I
really don't want to know that deeply how MS does a very complex install...I
just want it to work. :) )

The TSM CD that is created in the field-guide below is just the command-line
TSM backup client and the ASR process prompts for this CD and silently
installs the TSM client from it...so there is no opportunity to put NIC
drivers on it.

I'll read up on BartPE. I appreciate the info. :)

Thanks,
