TSM service fails, after restart, no dsmsched.log created
2006-06-15 08:25:42
I have 2 Windows 2003 Enterprise X64 Edition SP1 servers part of a
cluster. Occassionally the scheduled TSM backups fail and I cant
just restart the service since if I do it doesnt create the dsmsched.log
file and the dsmerror and dsmierror.log files are created but empty.
At that time both the GUI and Command Line intetraces wont start.
I can ping the TSM server though. I have to restart the server to get
TSM backups working again. The TSM clients are 5.3.2 the TSM server
is 5.2.3
Anyone seen this ??
