Hi TSM'ers,

Current status:
        AIX 5.3 ML4
        TSM-client 5.3.2 ( no dsmj script )


Having downloaded into /tmp the
        TSM534C.tivoli.tsm.client.ba.tar.Z
followed by
        cd /tmp; mkdir tsm324; cd tsm534;
        gtar zxvf ../TSM534C.tivoli.tsm.client.ba.tar.Z
        inutoc `pwd`

producing the following files:

# ls -al /tmp/tsm534

Finally I ran a
        smitty update_all
using the above extracted filesets in "/tmp/tsm534" and having
installed/updated the following:

Trying to run "dsmj" produced:

# dsmj
ksh: command not found: dsmj


Further investigation for the missing file(s):

bib2lp2# find /usr/tivoli -name "*.jar"
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/lang/en_US/tsmhelp.jar
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/lang/en_US/uil_nls.jar
bib2lp2# find /usr/tivoli -name "dsmj"

E.g. on a LINUX-box I find that "dsmj" is located in the TIVsm-BA rpm
but on AIX "dsmj" is neither in
        lslpp -f tivoli.tsm.client.ba.32bit.common|grep -i dsmj
nor in
        lslpp -f tivoli.tsm.client.ba.32bit.base|grep -i dsmj

Running
        restore -Tvf /tmp/tsm534/tivoli.tsm.client.ba|grep dsmj
produces
# restore -Tvf tivoli.tsm.client.ba|grep dsmj

QUESTION:
        Is there some trick telling smitty to install "dsmj"?

Hope I've given enough evidence for my problem and look forward for
some explanation.
