Easy.
Run MOVE DATA on the storage pool you want to get rid of.
TSM will move all the data, free the tapes from the original storage pool.
The next time you run BACKUP STGPOOL on the remaining primary pool, TSM will
copy all the new data to the second copy pool.
Then you can delete the volumes in the first copy pool.
An alternative to MOVE DATA is to set the 2nd primary pool as the NEXT POOL for
the primary pool you want to get rid of; then force TSM to migrate the data
from the 1st primary pool to the 2nd.
Fewer commands to enter, but less control over what moves first. Same result.

Hi TSM'ers,
for historic reasons I've archive data on 2 different storagepools
(incl.COPY-storage-pools).
What would be the best strategy to combine the archive-data on ONE
storagepool?
TSM-Server: 5.3.3 on AX 5.3, ML 4
TSM-clients: 5.1+
