Hi,

NDMP in ITSM did work for us for up to 2,5 TB (one filespace). Problems
that we had:
- Only one back-up stream per filespace. With the largest filespace
being 2.5 TB and the backup medium being LTO1, it took a while for the
full dump to complete.
- No copy pool support;
- On tape error, the whole dump failes;
- SLOW single object restore.

Haven't monitored NDMP implementation on ITSM v5.3 to see if their are
any changes.

Regards,

Karel

Hi,

Have used it. But, what are the limitations and bugs you speak off?

Regards,
Karel

Folks

is anyone out there using TSM (ndmp for net apps) we seem to have struck
a bug/limitation with netbackup
and are looking at moving to TSM. need to be confident that
it will not bug out at less than 3 TB
