I have nothing to do with the Domino side. I only install the TSM side. So
I will have to have the Domino admin look into this.

Since there are over 6000 userid's/mailboxes on this system and I am only
aware of 3-4 as having problems, (it said there were over 600 to backup),
I do not see how it could be a permissions issue !

Del.............can you add to this ? Where do I find an explanation for
the rc=18 ?

Also, if it is true that I have a problem with a single mailbox, does it
kill the whole backup ?

Have you check file permission settings on those databases?

Solaris Domino TDP failures

Recently, we have started to experience failures from our Solaris Domino
TDP backups. Usually, the only message I get is an "rc=18".

I dug through the domdsm.log file and found the folllowing various errors:

12/03/05 23:21:27 Backup of usermail15/tvanorder.nsf failed.
12/03/05 23:21:27 File does not exist

12/06/05 01:14:53 Backup of usermail3/jcarpent.nsf failed.
12/06/05 01:14:53 ACD0200E File (<NULL>) could not be opened for
reading.
12/06/05 01:52:46 Backup of usermail6/jmwohlford.nsf failed.
12/06/05 01:52:46 ACD0200E File (<NULL>) could not be opened for
reading.

12/07/05 00:02:51 Backup of usermail5/hhicks.nsf failed.
12/07/05 00:02:51 ACD0200E File (<NULL>) could not be opened for
reading.

The only hits I found relate to TDP V1.1.1 / older than 2003.

This is the latest TDP client (V5.3) and TSM client is 5.3.0.12.

Any suggestions ?
