I have never read anything about the client base level requirement
before installing a patch on a Windos client.
Where did you find that information?

5.1.5 was a baselevel also... That was a very strange releasenumber....
I think it should be 5.2... but hey, my meaning is that 5.3 should be
6.1... i don't understand the versions completely....
But normaly the full versions are x.x.0.0 for servers and x.x.x.0 for
clients.

I see that use version 5.1.6.6 client.
Did you installed the right version? You cannot use this version without
the base version 5.1.6 installed first.
You don't get any error when you install it, but it can give very
strange problems when using.
Same for the server: first 5.1.0.0, then 5.1.9.0, then a patchlevel when
needed.
