TSM only writes such log entries to a file (dsmsched.log) when performing
scheduled events.
When you use the command line interface to perform manual client
operations, you should see the results on the console. If you are not
seeing the detailed messages, then perhaps the QUIET option is in effect.
Disabling that option will give you the detailed output (which can also be
redirected to a file, i.e., "dsmc incremntal c: > dsmc.out 2>&1"). To see
if that option is indeed in effect, try running:
dsmc query optons quiet
