Steve,

After the domino client restores a log and the Domino server finishes
applying the transactions in the log, the Domino server removes the log.
So the next time you restore and activate the database, the log has to be
restored again.   You may be able to workaround this if you restore the
logs and remove write permission before running the activate command.
The Domino server may output  a message when it can't remove the .TXN
files. You should try this on an alternate Domino server so that you do
not interfere with the production server (see the Advanced restore
procedures section in the User's Guide)

You cannot incrementally rollforward a database. The rollforward always
starts from the backup time.
