Hi Douglas
Yes, you can use random disk devices for copy pool storage. You will
however need to define a sequential file device class to use for your copy
storage pool.

Copy storage pools (Disk)??
Currently data flow in our TSM environment is as such:
node=>DISKPOOL=>TAPEPOOL
I would like to acquire a disk array (iSCSI/NAS/FC)
and create a copy storage pool with random access
media (disk) so that data flow iwould be like this:
node=>DISKPOOL=>TAPEPOOL
=>JBOD
Is this possible or must copy storage pools be
sequential access.
Any ideas? opinions? Experiences? --- Thanks
