Deleting "ghost" volume

I have an LTO2 tape that is in a hung, "ghost" state, thus not allowing me
to delete/relabel it.

Here are the details.

The Library Manager for the LTO2 system says this tape was assigned (Q
VOLHIST says TYPE=REMOTE) to another TSM server.

However, the TSM server that is supposed to own this tape disavows all
knowledge of the tape.

How do I convince the Library Manager system that this tape is not in use
?
