Last time I had this I deleted the path and the drive in tTSM and added
it again. (new drive= new serial)
As far as I know it is not possible to update the serial of a drive.
(You can update the serial of a library.)

issue !

TSM Server 5.2.2.0 on Windows Server 2003

Tape drive is one of four  LTO-2s  in a NEO 4000 Library
