Ho Richard,

That sounds like the problem. This return code is coming
from the Exchange Server. Data Protection for Exchange
couldn't do an incremental backup even if it tried
because the Exchange Server is preventing it.

Do I really need to say that I have seen cases where there
is "stale" configuration data where a reboot of the machine
clears things up.  :-)
