I had this same problem at 5.2.2.0 on AIX. After upgrading to 5.2.2.3 it
went away.

Any thoughts why deleting archive from the client takes so long?






>From the client I wanted to delete some archives.  Using the GUI client I
selected Utilities/Delete Archive selected an archive.

It has been 1hour 40 min and it has only deleted 5,600 files.

Is this normal?  Are there parameters I could look at?

I am at version 5.2.2.0 on Z/OS for the server  and version 5.2.2.0 on a
Windows 2003 server.
