0Driver Requirements
-------------------

STORPORT DRIVERS ARE NOT SUPPORTED

The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager device driver does not support Storport
drivers for Host Bus Adapters on Windows 2003. ScsiPort drivers are required
for the HBAs to which the devices controlled by the IBM Tivoli Storage
  Manager device driver are attached.

Interesting. Where exactly did you read about FC storport driver issue ?

In 5.3 Server and Stg Agent README 5.3 I've found only following:

*******************************************************************************
* Support for QUERY SAN command and SAN discovery on Windows 2003 with *
* Qlogic Fibre Channel HBA *
*******************************************************************************
There is no support for SAN discovery for Qlogic Fibre Channel HBA on
Windows
2003 until a problem with Microsoft is resolved. The Windows 2003 platform
is not supported for now although the SANDISCOVERY option defaults to YES.
For the list of supported HBAs and required driver levels by operating
system go to http://www.ibm.com/support and search on keyword TSMHBA.
