First determine if it is a linux problem or a tsm problem.
# nslookup cobra.mcvh-vcu.edu
# host cobra.mcvh-vcu.edu
# ping cobra.mcvh-vcu.edu
If you can resolve the remote host, then it's a tsm problem.
If you know the actuall address, try putting the address in
/etc/hosts to see if it makes any difference.
