Maybe just simply extend your DataBase. It helps to take a look at your
database volume layout, processes running during db back-up etc.

My database backup (TSM 4.3.1 on Windows 2000) is running VERY slowly.
Taking about 4.5 to 5 hours now.

Apparently I need to increase log space again, but is there enough free
space in the DATABASE?
I try to keep the logs no higher than 80%, is there a magic number that
could help improve the backups speed?
