Yes, this is true. IBMs take on this is that it is up to the customer to
make the library "master" server highly available. So cluster the TSM
server. If you've got fibre attached disks for your TSM DB, Log and disk
pools, then include both of your 630's in the same zone as the TSM disks
so that you could manually fail the second TSM server over in case of
problems.

Backup Env Info
        2 TSM Servers Running on p630's TSM ver 5.2.x
        Both Server using the same 3494Lib with 8x3592 FC Drives Zoned
to each TSM box , but robot is being shared by both TSM Servers 

We are looking at setting up Library Sharing between both Backup
Servers.  While it sounds great, the downside we are struggling with is
that if the TSM server that is the Library "Master" so to speak is not
available then the other TSM server sharing the library can not access
the library.

Is anyone else using library sharing?  If so what are your
experiences...
