Have anyone seen that a faulty tape can stop TSM from expire data?!?

Is there some situation inciting the question?

A short answer.
A support organisation suggested to delete a faulty tape. The tape conatins
some TDP files that does not expire like I hoped they would do.
We are now working on other ideas than deleting the tape...
