The manual you are looking for is named "IBM Informix Backup and Restore
Guide". You can find it at URL
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/pubs/library/interim/ct1slna-pdf.html

Or you can browse the whole library of Informix Dynamic Server manuals at
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/pubs/library/ids_9.html

Hi,

Does anyone have any good documentation on how to use the Informix Data
Protection agent ? I was able to install the Data Protection agent on one
of
my test AIX servers but I'm not totally clear on how to use onbar as the
backup scheme. I'm familiar with onload/onunload and doing level 0 backups
on my other servers, but I have never used onbar. What's more, the
Informix
Data Protection agent only shows how to setup the agent and shows nothing
pertaining to the actual backup. It just says to consult the Informix
guide
for more details. I have checked the IBM site, but am having problems
finding step by step procedures on using onbar and how Tivoli fits into it
all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rich
