Dear Guenther,

We have a similar configuration to the one you described, except we
are running TSM 5.1

 3583 with 18 cartridge slots,
12  I/O slots
3 LTO drives
 SAN Data Gateway.

fibre attached to a p630 server
running AIX 5.2
and TSM 5.1


We are very happy with our SAN and LTO.  (The only problem we had,
was when we tried to attatch a HP-9000 server...)
Otherwise I can recommend this setup.
