Chris - Is it the case that the Windows system becomes inaccessible and
        unusable, or that the dsmsched.log shows no further backup activity
after the initial entry?  As always, check the client dsmerror.log and the
TSM server Activity Log for indications.  See if there is any virus or
security checking software running on that one box which may be interfering.
A disk-full condition might also clog the works, but I gather that this box
otherwise runs fine, so probably not that.  You might use the Task Manager or
the like to see what's going on with this box relative to its happy kin.
Also try a manual backup and see how it does.  Networking/firewall issues
might conceivably be at play.
