If you use TSM's Space Management (formerly called HSM) to offload files that
are accessable via the Storage Resource Broker (SRB), would you be willing to
discuss your implementation?

The Storage Resource Broker (SRB), http://www.npaci.edu/DICE/SRB/index.html, is
middleware developed at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) that provides
a uniform access interface to geographically distributed data and metadata.  A
client wants to use it to store low use streaming media.
