Hi gang !

A strange behavior, I can't explain on a TSM server v 5.2.2.1, aix 5.2.
I have an AIX client (5.1.6.9) belonging a policy domain where default
management class points to a primary pool on disk, itself migrating to a
collocated tape pool. This client was defined on the server with max
mount points = 1, and has an entry in it's dsm.sys specifiying
RESOURceutilization 10. The backup of this node is initiated from a
crontabed script invoking following command : "dsmc incremental
-subdir=yes /frs36 /frs36/rs36/QS36F".
I have remarked that this node was using numerous tapes, most of them
partilly filled (< 5%) and tried to find out why. In today's activity
log I see following entries, all of them concerning tapes belonging this
node :

05/14/04 02:11:01 ANR0406I Session 9799 started for node xxxxxx

So it looks like I have several things happening together :
1) my disk pool was full, and starded migrating data for that client on
a first tape
2) at the same time 2 different sessions where opened for the same
client, each of them using a different tape !

How can that be, as I defined "Maximum Mount Points Allowed: 1" for this
node ?
As far as I know, this value should be honored independently of the
number of sessions/threads opened by the client, and even in the case of
a primary disk pool full condition, obliging data to be written on tape.
Has someone an explanation to this or does it look like a bug ?
Thanks for all info/pointers/advices ...
