Just FYI to everyone
I restarted my TSM server and I was able to add the path and drive that I was
having so much difficulty with..
ADSM = Windows??? Thanks for all the assistance people.

Have you registered the license for Managed Libraries? The base product
only has license for two drives.

I just removed and tried to readd .. I was able to add drive 1 and drive 2
as address 256 and 257 with no problem. The instant I tried drive3 for
258 it failed. BTW as for syntax errors I am using the web interface.

Define it as drive 3, not drive 1. You have a syntax error.

Hey all,
I noticed that others of the list seem to have similar element address
problems but I didnt see my solution so I was hoping to throw this one out
and see what sticks.
I just added a new LTO (ver1) drive to our Scalar 100 Library. I used
lbtest and can see the element address reported by the new drive is 258
(the 2 previous drives are 256 and 257). When I try to move the media to
the 258 address or define the new drive to tsm I receive an error.
