Hi,

I had a similar problem which I resolved yesterday. In my case it had to
do with the maxscratch parameter on my offsite storage pool. Quoting
from the Tivoli Support Site:
"ANR1086W Space reclamation terminated for volume XXXXXX
- insufficient space in storage pool.

can occur when the value set for 'Maximum Scratch Volumes Allowed' is
reached. This value is set for storage pools and controls the number of
scratch tapes that can be used for the storage pool. So despite having
scratch volumes available in the library, the above error may be seen
when the value set for a particular storage pool is reached. To correct
the problem simply increase the value set for Maximum Scratch Volumes
Allowed for the storage pool."

Hi

I use TSM 5.1.0 on AIX 5.1 to backup my clients. When migration, backup
to
tapes, offsite generation happens one problem being faced intermittently
is
that scratch tapes are not being assigned to the pool automatically.
This
leads to the failure of any of the above said activities saying
insufficient space available in the storage pool. How can I resolve this
problem?
