We have noticed that for at least some of our XP machines, the TSM scheduler
does not appear to run unless the user is logged on.  Because users here are
asked to logoff before they go home once a week in order for windows
security patches to be pushed to their machines, that means their pcs are
not getting backed up that night (most backups here are scheduled for right
before midnight).  We have noticed similar behavior for McAfee antivirus --
scheduled virus checks don't occur unless the user is logged on, so it might
not be a tsm specific issue.  Has anyone else run into this, or is there
something wrong with the way we have the scheduler service set up on our xp
machines?
