There's also something else I noticed. What is taking so long is the
downloading of the icons (.gif files).
Is that what you notice as well ?

We also got this strange problem. The funniest thing is, that after the
upgrade from 5.1.6.1 to 5.2.1.3 we got the problem . So maybe a 5.2 related
problem on windows server  ?
What I found out was , that when I disabled all backup Lan adaptors ( only
enabled the production network card), the web console was fast, but after
enabling the backup lan adaptors, the web console performance went slow
again.

I tested DNS and that is working ok . PTR records, etc also the lmhosts
file..
Maybe somebody else got a clue ?

Then it is most likely a DNS issue; a reverse lookup zone and a PTR record
for the TSM server will likely do the trick.
Ask your DNS administrator...
