Hi all,

since some time, i have the following problem:

TSM wants to dismount a volume from our STK-Library (Ecardrigde drive)
and it fails.
in the log of the LS everything seems to be allright. The volume is
dismounted when looking
into the drive.

Then some mounts & dismounts are fine. And again, dismount faild along
with error reading lable.

This night, things where so heavy that tsm says (note: there where some
few dismount errors over the day in the same drive):
2004-01-29 00:32:33.000000 ANR8944E Hardware or media error on
drive STK01_EC_001 (/dev/mt3) (OP=WRITE, Error Number=5, CC=305, KEY=04,

2004-01-29 00:32:33.000000 ANR8944E Hardware or media error on

2004-01-29 00:32:33.000000 ANR8469E Dismount of ECARTRIDGE volume
200620 from drive STK01_EC_001 (/dev/mt3) in library STK01 failed.

And still, no errors on the LS. Mounts and dismounts work fine in the
sight of the LS.

Has anyone a clue????

regards
Bernd Wiedmann
