We use to backup our EMC devise with TSM by using an AIX server with the
volumes mounted. The client was on the AIX box. It was very fast and
efficient for backup and restores. Once the EMC and associated Servers were
moved off site to Corporate Headquarters, the backups were done by EMC's
supplied direct systems not TSM

How about Celerra? Anyone successfully backing up the
"other" EMC device with NDMP and TSM?
