Tony, thanks for your advice. I think tsm does not use c:\adsm.sys\...\* any
more to store the system objects, at least since version 5. Exception for
locked files.

Why not just explicitly exclude "c:\adsm.sys\...\*"
and put "domain c: d: e: f:" in a secure dsm.opt
and take "execute" off dsm.exe for the users?
