HI Guys

I'm struggling with the Operational Reporter again.

Why, oh why, if the fact that the summary table data is known to be
unreliable, do so many scripts in the Operational Reporter query the summary
table?

I'm now sitting with management jumping up and down because their report
states that several servers were not backed up, when in fact they were.

If I query the summary table for one of the nodes, the last entry is as
follows:

   START_TIME: 2003-12-09 21:30:21.000000
     END_TIME: 2003-12-09 22:32:41.000000
     ACTIVITY: BACKUP
       NUMBER: 1132
       ENTITY: SERVER1
     COMMMETH: Tcp/Ip
      ADDRESS: 112.123.132.132:-26552
SCHEDULE_NAME: UNIX_DAILY
     EXAMINED: 201373
     AFFECTED: 7445
       FAILED: 1
        BYTES: 0
         IDLE: 0
       MEDIAW: 0
    PROCESSES: 1
   SUCCESSFUL: YES
  VOLUME_NAME:
   DRIVE_NAME:
 LIBRARY_NAME:
     LAST_USE:
    COMM_WAIT:

Querying the activity log for the same node, I get the following:

Hmm. What happened to the summary data for the 10th?

Is there any way to clear the contents of the summary table, and start
afresh? Or will the final version of the Operational Reporter not use an
unreliable data source?

Leigh.
