Zlatko,

Thanks for the reply. No, we are not experiencing problems; rather, this
is for assurance before deployment. We will be migrating several W2K
clients, a number of which are load balanced, to TSM. I found plenty of
documentation regarding clustered clients, nut nothing regarding NLB
clients.

As is written in the article you are mentioning ("Note that there is no
sharing of data between servers running NLB"), there is no specific
activity and from TSM point of view these are ordinary Windows systems.
So TSM ought to work without problems. Are you experiencing problems or
needing assurance before deployment?

We need to back up some Microsoft Network Load Balanced (NLB) clients
(as opposed to Microsoft Cluster Service clustered clients) running
Microsoft SQL. Does either TSM V4.2 or V5.x support this?

If needed, here's a link (http://tinyurl.com/nusf) to an article,
"Windows clustering: Microsoft Cluster Service or network load
balancing," which discusses the difference between NLB and Clustering.

Thanks for your help

Ralph
